Born in eGcuwa (Butterworth) in the Eastern Cape, Xhobani grew up with creative siblings and relatives, and was inspired to imagine and create at a young age. Having explored other career paths nothing ever felt right until he decided to go back to what he knew best, so he decided to explore his artistic abilities at a higher education institution.

He is currently enrolled at the CUT studying Design and Studio Art where he is able to explore and practise different forms of art disciplines. He is an illustrator, but also interested in other forms of expression through art.
